Default Corvette 1998 C5 (Fuel)

Corvette 1998 C5.

I replaced the fuel pressure regulator thinking it was why the car only ran about 20 seconds, then died. After removing the part I noticed that there were broken off pieces of plastic from the end of the FPR in the housing that contained it. I fished out the broken pieces from that housing to reconstruct the FPR. I couldn’t reconstruct the FPR because not all the pieces were there. So where did they go?? My guess would be stuck in the fuel return line or maybe back to the fuel tank. Perhaps that is why my doesn´t run for long. Can anyone come up with a different scenario?

Don´t know what to do!!!!!!

Take apart fuel and try to blow compresed air if u can. Or try to pass the that fuel line with a rubber gas line to buy pass line. Goi g to the pump. Just try to eliminate the return line if possible. You have the fuel pump by the bank tire. Get the car jacked up to access the fuel pump.
I think ur right. Its got to be stu k in the line. Try blowing both ways in that line.

I might be able to bypass the return line after the fuel pressure regulator. That might tell if the pieces are between FPR and gas tank for sure.
Also, my car might even run. (Fuel pump is in the gas tank on a 1998)

I will try that.
