Default Electrochromic external mirror Glass replacement

Does anyone have a source to purchase a replacement mirror (just the glass) for an external (driver side) mirror for a 2003 (Z06)? A local shop gave me a $400 price from GM. Searching for a lower cost option, for a new glass. I have tried to read all the posts regarding this topic in the C5 Tech forum and find info on how to physically replace it, but none on where to purchase. I had seen an old post from Cultrag Performance stating they had just the glass but a search of their website didn't give me any conclusive result. I found an 'mirror glass, left" with a part number 12530715 for $103.66. No description but I assume that is just plain glass. I have seen some suggested options but I prefer to replace with same glass to keep it original. Appreciate any suggestions.

The electrochomatic glass is like $250...

The non electrochomatic is that $103 you are seeing.

I bought a used mirror assembly that wasnt in great shape, but the glass looked brand new for 75 bucks and pulled the glass.

Here's a link to the correct part: https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.c.../12455610.html

I'd like to replace the electrochromic mirror on mine as well, but not willing to pay $250+ for one.

Not any help if you are set on auto dim mirror replacement but I just put a regular EBAY mirror over my original mirror. Didn't want to spend the $$$ and I don't drive at night so it worked fine for me. Good luck

Thanks for the link. All suggestions are appreciated. It shows the mirror glass is $315 plus shipping. I am not thrilled about $400 but with the repair shop obtaining the part, they are responsible for correctness and by the time I include shipping there isn't a significant difference. I don't need/use the auto dimming, since I am unlikely to drive at night. This is a sunny, Sunday driver only.

12530715 is what I'm using on my '03 Z. It's a heated only mirror. They aren't as easy to install though. They're more flexible than the stock mirror, and harder to re-install. I actually cracked the first one I got. I'm going to revise my method for round 2.

I get the original deal but unless you drive very little at night not worth the expense and trouble to go back original but your call. I got an ebay stick on over existing mirror and very satisfied, if I didn't tell you, you would never know it. Good luck with it. Cheers
