New battery, now car stalls. Help!
This morning I had to change the battery in my 99. No problem until it came time to DRIVE the car. It starts up just fine, revs good, but when I put it in drive and give it some gas, it stalls. Almost like it thinks its being stolen or something. It will start right back up and do the same thing, over and over. Goes about 6 feet each time.
I have no current codes set.
I've looked in the archives and saw some no-start problems after a battery change, but couldn't find this one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

Idle relearn....the easiest procedure is to turn key on, pull underhood fuses #16 and #23, turn key off, replace fuses and your good to go, don't forget to close the hood...My 98 did exact same thing when I changed battery 2 months ago.

Its the column lock thingy...Most likely stuck in the "unlocked" position :yesnod: Pull fuse #25 at the passenger side footwell and reinsert it.This will reset the Body Control Module,and you will be good to go :thumbs:
