Mysterious Headlight Issue
I ran across a strange issue this week, I'd appreciate any info or advice.
1 - I replaced my DRL's with led bulbs. Fuse #6 is under the kick panel went out.
2 - Learned my lesson; unplugged the battery, replaced Fuse #6, and put the factory bulbs back in.
3 - Now the headlights stay open and the headlight motors make a clicking sound! On top of that, the headlights won't illuminate anymore.
I checked all the fuses connected to headlights and headlight motors, but I can't figure out what the issue could be. Is there a short somewhere or relay that had gone bad?

Just FYI if anyone finds the same issue:
My battery managed to dip below 6 volts, so my charger thought it was a 6 volt battery instead of 12 volt. It would not charge beyond 6 volts, keeping it too weak.
Jumped it, ran it, maintained it at 12 volts, all is good now.
TLDR: some chargers misjudge a battery's voltage

Only reason I can think of is they can be used on old, pre 1960s all original, classic cars with 6v systems. Otherwise.........
