Hi there. I will have to change my handle, as we just sold the 1993 and got a 2000 roadster. The problemI am having is the DIC says SERVICE VEHICLE SOON. I checked all codes, cleared all that said H, but I still get PCM error P1571 C, SDM error U1040 C, and TCS error NO COMM. I have heard that this my pertain to a module that allows the ABS and TCS to communicate, but isn't working. I also heard no one carries this module anymore. Do es anyone out there have ideas to rectify this? Otherwise, we LOVE the car.
Thanks for listening.

Here is the schematic of the EBCTM power and ground .
Check if you have power on A,D and E terminal .
Check also that you have good continuty to both grounds G108 and G101 .
DTC P1571 is probably related to a none working EBCTM signal between the PCM and the EBCTM(traction control request circuit)
This is a 5volt signal from PCM to EBCTM toggled by the brake module depending on torque request reduction from brake module to the PCM.
U1040-Lost communication with electronic brake controle module
Thanks for the help folks. Tested OK. So a bad EBCM. Finally found a good, used and tested from vettenuts.net. Pricey, but at least they had one, the last one Bob said.
Well folks, it's best to go to a qualified technician. Seems the problem of the no comm WAS the power, as in lack of. Turns out tje EBCM is good, and there were 2 maxi fuses missing. Power now fine, just a slow pump. I am learning....
SUCCESS! I got a complete EBCM with pump and valves from vettenuts.net. That did the trick. No more error codes!
Thank you vettenuts.net again. Picking the car up tomorrow for some summer rides.
