Default Electrical wizard needed!!

My '99 has developed a new vexation for me. When fired up from cold, the OP gauge reads fine, but the HUD OP indicator says zero. As it warms up, the gauge OP drops and the HUD OP indicator begins to work, but slowly (one bar at a time) until the gauge and the HUD read pretty much the same. Weird, huh? What the H is going on? There's only one sending unit (feeds both gauge and HUD), so it shouldn't be bad. HELP!!

Don’t understand your language here ....are u talking about the oil gauge ? There’s a sensor on the back of the engine known to just go out without warning...

Yes, the oil pressure gauge and the oil pressure display in the HUD. There is an oil pressure sending unit on the back top of the block and it sends its signal to both the gauge and the HUD display. How can they read differently?

From what I understand the oil pressure sending unit send the signal to the PCM. The PCM then send the data to IPC. My guess your problem might be with the IPC.

I know U want to find the problem and I would too but if they both settled out after a bit I would live with it until it completely went south. Good luck with it
