Headlight gear replacement looking for recommendations

I’m not sure if this is the correct area to post it sorry in advance.

My headlight gear is about to go as and I have looked about for a replacement and stumbled across http://rodneydickman.com/product_inf...products_id=92
I have seen in pass threads mention this site but it seems a tad sketch.
so I ask if this store is good and if not it would be heavily appreciated for any recommendations for the brass gear kits

I ordered my kit from him and did both at the same time...

I only got 1 packet of epoxy when the instructions said I should have had 2.

1 was enough but gotta work fast.

No help on kit but I just ordered a new motor and done with it. To much trouble crack open the motor and glue and hopefully want have to replace again in my lifetime since I rarely drive at night anyway. Rockauto, 68.00. Good luck with it

Rodney is the man. Very high quality gear kits. I never use my headlights without them.

Ordered and installed his kit to fix my 98's headlight problem.

After hearing about brass gears jamming went with a plastic one

I considered using a brass gear in my 98 C5 when I had the very noisy opening problem. I read several posts where the brass gears jammed and caused additional problems.
Picked up a Dorman replacement gear at Advance Auto for less than $20 and installed it. No problems 2 years later. YMMV
