I recently purchased a 99 C-5 convertible with 10,000 miles. The car is flawless, except I serviced the windshield washer fluid, when I hit the button to wash the windshield fluid only comes out of the drivers wiper and it pisses fluid under the car from just inside and behind the left front tire.
One thing that I've learned, over the years, is that windshield washers, especially on cars that are seldom driven, will crap out prematurely. Prior to buying my C-5, I owned a '77 Pontiac T/A, for 25 years. I probably used the washers, MAYBE, 4-5 times during that time, and just before I sold the car, I found that they didn't work. I'm sure the system "dried out", because it certainly wasn't "worn out".
Using that experience as a warning, even though my C-5 has low mileage, and is seldom driven in the rain, I'll "exercise" the washers, a couple of times, when I wash the car. I cycle the washers a couple of times, then rinse the fluid off the car, as I wet the car to begin washing it.....
