The right rear tire TPMS will not reset. My questions are: 1. Can I just replace the one bad sensor? 2. Do I need to replace all 4? 3. Will after market sensor work with the other 3 OEM sensors? Any other advice will be appreciated.
discount tire or tirerack has the Schrader sensors and can replace and program them for you. its my opinion to always do all 4 on anything having to do with tires and brakes.
If they are all original 21 years old might as well replace them all. Schrader 20117
Yup, my C5 sensors are 21 years old now. I don't know how in the heck they still work. But if I was going to bet $$ on how much longer they'll work, it wouldn't be much! I'll also replace all 4 when the 1st bites the dust.
if it is a 2000, I would kindly suggest to buy the Schrader 28006 at rockauto.com or anywhere (100$ for 4 - currently out of stock), that's the best price and by the OEM manufacturer. you will find numerous examples in the forum who wanted to save a few bucks and finally got the Schrader to have peace of mind. if the sensors do not work after installation, it will cost you demounting/re-mounting of the tires again.
I don't know the one you linked.

I have had good luck with TPMS 24/7. Very quick turn around time on order to shipping. Just send vehicle make and model ( have used with Vette and other makes) and they hook you up with proper sensors. I believe it was around $80 for a set.
