I recently removed the headers on my 2004 Z06 and found the bracket that connects the headers to the bellhousing was cracked. It's cracked in 3 places, shown by the red circles below.
Does anyone know the part number for this piece and where I can find a new one? It looks like the L-shaped bracket is OEM and the one that actually connects to headers is aftermarket?
Thanks. That part number is discontinued and I could only find 1-2 on ebay. I've seen pictures of cars with long tube headers that don't use this bracket. Is the bracket necessary?
