Lingenfelter Heads, anybody using them?
Ok, I am very much planning to get a set of the Lingenfelter heads along with the 224 114 cam for my '02 Coupe. Does anyone have any experience with these heads? Also, does anyone know if the 224 114 is a good cam choice for those heads? :seeya Corvette Wave :seeya

I was really just looking to see if anyone has gone with the Lingenfelter heads/224 114 combo? What kind of hp/tq gains?

I also bought my package from Nate (check out my sig). I went w/ the 224/228 114 lsa w/ 581 lift. I'm hoping to get it dyno tuned next week sometime, so I should have figures soon.
From what I can tell already, I'm pretty happy w/ the mod. Idle quality is quite good. The car is running very rich now as it burns my eyes just standing next to it as it idles.

I have a spreadsheet with flow numbers I have collected. The Lingenfelter Ls6 Stage I heads to me are the best bang for the buck. Those heads are $1595. They flow 307 @.600 which is comparable to most other tuners' heads. The stage II and Stage III heads are only about 7 CFM higher at .600 and are about $600 more.

xtreme is a distributor of our heads, so keep talking to Nate, he'll take good care of you, and you will end up with LPE products on your car.

Lingenfelter products offer the best of all worlds, performance, quality and RELIABILITY. Thats why we are using LPE heads almost exclusively now on all head and cam pkgs. We are super happy with the hp numbers we are getting with their pkgs...

The LPE heads for 1595.00 are stock valve heads that have been ported. No other upgrades are included for the 1595.00 price.

The issue will be with the LPE and other LS6 head packages,is you will have to have a set of LS6 heads to send them or pay a huge core charge.

As of today I am a Lingenfelter fan for life. I picked up my 99FRC from 21st Century Muscle Cars this afternoon and just got it home after an H/C job. Wow! Whole new car, better than 400RWHP, it idles great, 2 year/24,000 mile warranty and running with stock exhaust manifolds. I don't know what else to ask for. :D

Bk, nice numbers are you still using the 02 air box and do you have the LS6 intake? I'm using the same cam with the LPE ported SCCA LS6 heads with FLP headers and LS6 intake, numbers should be good :cheers:
