You can get a “Chinese Clone” Tech 2 which is the GM factory scan tool for $250-350.00 but why do you need to do a CKP Relearn ??...if you rarely ever have the need for a Tech 2 it may just be cheaper to take it to a shop..it takes about 2 minutes to do the procedure !!
Thanks! I was getting gremlins about every other day, and after doing every troubleshooting procedure I could find on here, I put in a rebuilt PCM. Haven't driven it enough yet to see how much it helped, if any, but it still doesn't start every time like it should.
Fuel pump always primes and was over 50 psi, but I changed the filter/ regulator and now have 60 psi. New ignition switch. Went through the grounds all over, and fuses and relays. Had cam sensor code once, so changed that. Plugs and wires, battery, on and on!
Car would sputter sometime like fuel problem. TCC would stay engaged and kill engine at stop lights,Sure there is more I can't remember! OH. shift intervals not right.
Never left me stranded yet, but man, my 01 was absolutely trouble free! This 02 has less miles, too!
Sorry to hear you’re having all these issues !!...low battery voltage is a big thing with these cars and having a good battery and connections at BOTH ends is a good first start !!
