Quick question about 99 c5 stock injector pintles.

Default Quick question about 99 c5 stock injector pintles.
Just a simple question, I bought some different pintles for my 280-155-890 bosch injectors. The old pintle caps broke when. I went to remove the fuel rail to wash my intake manifold. Will these after market ones work? Or will they create a leak? Thanks!

They won't leak unless the o-rings are bad.The pintle is only there to keep the o-ring on the injector when you remove them from the intake.

Do the pintle caps sit inside that little edge in the injector holes on the manifold?

Yes,but the o-ring is what actually does the sealing.

thanks, I wasn't sure since theres that round edge inside the intake Injector holes.
