I've got a simple question that I can't seem to find the answer to. I'm swapping to a set of BBK shorty headers on my daily C5. I've got header gaskets for attaching to the heads and the air system, but I'm unclear on the flanges that connect to the midpipes/cats. I can't seem to find a part number or gasket that would go there. Without taking it apart I'm unsure if it has a gasket or not. Does anyone know if there is another gasket I need to get, or some kind of joining piece, or if it just clamps metal to metal?

Actually you most likely will not need the replace them. I've reused mine twice and never had a problem.
As you can see they are not cheap paper gasket
Shorty's....if you have not already paid for them I hope I could talk you out of it. Pretty worthless and not cheap.
Just stop. Everyone tries to say this but I already weighed the pros and cons. I got a good deal, already re-coated and wrapped them. They will work good for my needs. Stop assuming you know everyone's situation, I did not ask if you thought they were a good idea.

I had them a few years back and you really don't need to wrap them unless you want to
Just trying to help... I won't make that mistake again.
Something that you need to keep in mind. People here are NOT unfriendly, but your avatar indicates that you're pretty new to this site. The C-5 platform has been around since 1997, in other words, 24 years. Some of the members have also been around for close to that long, and you can believe me, when I say the "shorties vs. long tubes" discussions have also been going on for that long........So, don't take offense.
