Tranny fluid & filter change
I need some help, please. I want to change out my fluid and filter in the tranny(auto) and need some guidance in doing it. I am mechanically-inclined and if I can changeout the brake rotors and pads(and not ruin the system), I think I can handle this job. My car has 50,000 miles on it and I feel it's about time for this. Anyone with some directions and where can I get the required stuff to do it(I have the tools, just need the parts/fluid) Anything else I should tackle while I'm under there, doing this? Thanks for any help!
Steve

1) Get car at least three feet in the air.
2) I have found an electric pump to suck and blow the oil in and out will be an asset.
3) Place drain pan and remove plug. Let drain and then suck out oil with pump.
4) Remove pan letting the rest of the oil drain from edge. U No what I mean!
5) Remove filter. Note: The O-Ring for the filter can be a pain to remove/ install. I will not say to re-use it...but if you did it could work.
6) Install everything.
7) Use the pump and fill tranny to oil poors out drain plug hole.
8) Start engine, put transmission into all its gears holding for 10 seconds or so in each.
9) Top off till oil drips from drain hole.
10) Install plug.
Rubber gloves and eye protection recommended. A helper does hurt to run the tranny into the gears while one observes the oil level.
