Temporary Setup Help - Wheel Adapters/Flared Fenders
I'm looking to pull the trigger on the rear flared fenders for my C5Z while I have the car in the body shop being repaired. The car is running the C5 Z06 18x10.5s in the rear now. If I decide to do the flared fenders now I will go with a wheel setup that will require time to build unless I can find something I like used. In that temporary time, can I run a wheel adapter to bring the wheels out enough to look decent while being safe until the wheels are complete? Or would it be better to just run the car a little goofy looking until the new wheels are complete?
I'm thinking it would be 1 3/4 or 2 inch spacer to bring those wheels out to look more flush. The car is not my daily driver, but I do want to be able to drive it in the interim and safely.
