Is there a list of all the acronyms anywhere? I’m very new to the corvette world and can’t keep up with the lingo.
Would very much appreciate any help. I recently committed a terrible crime, I was in a hurry and ran my 98’
through a car wash. I was telling myself don’t do it all the way to the entrance. I thought it was a touch less car wash
and found out too late it wasn’t. When I got out everything seemed fine until the windshield wipers started acting crazy.
I had forgot that I had them on intermittent due to a slight drizzle before I pulled in. I think they tried to cycle during the
car wash. They kept on the intermittent cycle even after I turned them off. They eventually stopped. I was afraid to turn them back on .
I noticed the passenger side doesn’t want to seat completely in to the bracket. Anyone else had this problem?
I work out of town and will check it this weekend. Hopefully it will reset on its own.
Sounds like you drown your wiper motor. Check to make sure the udders that drain the cowl and keep the motor from being submerged are clear. While Corvette owners say it is a sin to use a car wash, you should see what GM does to them during development and testing. A traditional car wash pales in comparison.
