Question, but a little history first. Have had my 03 AE just over 3 years. Got it with 31k miles on it, like new.
Was told it needed some Freon as it was blowing warm. Turned out it needed a new comp., ok with that for what I paid for the Vette.
Year later blowing warm air driver side, new blend door actuator needed. Following year another actuator same side. Several months later blowing warm same side. This time needed a computer reset and all well. Now same thing. Needs a new actuator again. I always keep my temp the same, never change the mode, always top register and fan speed.
Have read several posts on this forum about blend door actuator problems. Can anyone explain why this is a continued issue. Asked my Vette mechanic who has owned many and works on them all the time. Said he can’t explain and seldom see’s this problem.
Any help or information is greatly appreciated, Thank you. Dave 😀👍
Search the forum for "indexing blend doors" and see if this helps.
Thank you I will.
Just did what is called ? a hard reset so I’m told. Disconnected neg battery cable and let sit for five minutes and reconnected. Only thing needed to reset was clock. Did not do the job. Told this would do a complete computer reset of Vette. I tried 😢.
After pulling neg term with no results went back out and located inside fuse panel # 27 fuse, pulled out for 60+ seconds with key ON then replaced and started eng. NOW COLD AIR. Thanks guys. A bit pissed at my mechanics mechanic for not trying this. Saved over $500.+. A good day. 😀👍

Glad it's working out for you. I've gotta ask......What brand actuators are you buying? Make sure you're buying the '01 and later style, NOT the older, '97-'00 style actuator!! The older ones are a lot cheaper, for good reason. The newer style have a built in stop so they can't get out of range. The earlier style have no stop!! Personally, I'd pay for the OEM, or Dorman. Just sayin'......

Not sure of the brand my mechanic used for the first two repairs was not cheap. Know he likes using oem parts like delco. Thank you. 👍
