Hi all, thanks for the tips on the exhaust systems. At this time I figure I will go with the Stingers. Since it has been awhile since I have crawled under a vette, 1981 to be exact - been working on 66/67/70 Chevelles, how is the Borla install? Any gotchas? The thought of crawling under that car does not appeal to me since it is sooooo low. Thanks for any insight.

Are you going with the 2 tips or the new 3.5" 4 tips? Only gotchas I know is the allignment. But there haev been posts on how to get them perfectly alligned. i laos have heard slight resonance (Even though Borla Claims none) but I'm not sure how much
The hardest part of the install is getting the oem exhaust off. I believe you have to have the car at least 3 feet in the air to avoid cutting the stock exhaust. I took mine to a shop and watched them do the whole thing since I have no way of getting my car that high in the air.
Other than that, the install is simple as can be. It is mearly unbolting the stock and bolting the new one on. Good luck, and I guarantee you will love the sound over the stock exhaust.
Thanks for the tips guys. Do ya'll have any thoughts on the sound w/the four round tips vs. the two round tips? I know my Supercrew w/Ravin Z55 sounds different with single out the muffler vs. dual out the muffler. From what I see most have the Stinger w/two tips.

The Dual set just came out very recently. Many owners wanted and pleaded for these about a year ago these instead of the singles. I'm surprised I'm not seeing more of a response - perhaps they gave in and went with the singles.
Anyway, I spoek with Borla and they claim that the dual tips sound pretty much the same as the Singles. But they also claim no resonance. I've heard there is is slight resonance but not overbearing. The thing is, the sound will also change with time (according to Borla) - not sure what that means.
I'm inteerste in these or the 4" round GHL's - still can't decide.
I think you are making a great choice, as I ordered the two tips for a friend (Mario) and he installed with Longtubes....WOW !!!! Xtreme Motorsports, thanks Nate, got them quickly when they were on backorder. I wanna hear the 4 tips also, and can only hope someone will have them at the Feb Bachrodt Show in Coconut Creek, Fl.
