Default Question on clutch install

I have a question on my gap numbers between the clutch and slave cylinder, it’s a monster stage 2 single disk with new slave cylinder.

So here is my two final numbers I got from my measurements, clutch 2.4863 inches, slave cylinder 2.2356 inches.

Will this be in spec where I won’t have problems, and don’t have to shim? Please help and thanks

Typically with the new clutch there should be a sheet with what kind of specs are acceptable along with how and where to take the measurements. If you don't have it here is the link:

I don't know where/how you took your measurements but you can reference this and will know the answer.

Monster did provide a sheet like this, but it didn’t really tell me anything like tolerating references, but I still don’t know if my numbers are acceptable with the gap.

If I recall they like to see no less than a .0625" and no more than a .200" gap. My suggestion would be to call or email to confirm.

I had 0.18 measured gap on my Monster 2 disc clutch and it works perfect so far , just some 70 miles on it.
