I'm swapping out my F45 shocks for 2013 Z06 shocks on my 97. When I install the shock simulator, does the light blue wire in the ESU have to be removed? Thanks in advance for any help.
The instructions for the simulators mentioned cutting the wire and I'm hoping someone can shed some light on that procedure. I don't like cutting wires. Thanks.

When I added the resistors I didn't cut any wires.. Post the instructions
Just read on another post that the directions ar wrong. The light blue wire should only be cut on the 2003. It would be nice if the instructions were corrected. Thanks to all for your help.

I'm a much better "mechanic", than I am an "electrician", but given even my limited electrical experience, I would tend to think that the purpose of those "simulators" is to take the place of the electronics of the actual F45 shock absorber. Therefore using the simulator shouldn't require cutting anything.....
