Hey everyone. This is a pretty common question I've read on here, but it seems there are a lot of answers, so I'm hoping to get some more direct advice on next steps.
A few days ago, a friend an TSP headers and X Pipe. During the install, I removed the AIR/EGR system since the headers block off the port for it. During the test drive, it ran pretty rough. Idled choppy, not unlike a cammed motor. Struggled and bogged down when applying throttle. After a few minutes of idling and circling around my apartment, it threw a check engine light and cleared up immediately. Had a normal throttle response and everything.
I took it for a short test drive (>1 mi.) the next day and it had the same symptoms. When I pulled it up to my garage, it struggled, then died out. My hunch is that I could have faulty plugs (but I still have some doubt as they were new and came with kit), and they fouled out due to the car running richer. I plan to take it to a tuner soon, once I find one that does emissions tuning as a lot seem to be avoiding that right now.
Anyone else have any thoughts or experience to weigh in with? The car sounds fantastic and I really want to drive it....

You can't toss on LT headers and delete AIR/EGR and expect it to run right. You need to have it tuned.
that’s not necessarily true. Car should run fine after Lt’s just need the tune to get rid of the check engine light for the o2 sensors. But nevertheless, you should see what the tuner says.

Don't mind the fact the car will run lean which can cause damage.

I'm wondering if you got the o2 sensors mixed up, that will cause the car to run like dog crap... the air system has nothing to do with that, it will just set a code... pull and post all your codes and go from there
