Squeaky clutch pedal
Anyone ever have a squeaking clutch pedal? If so, what did you do about it?

If you purged he clutch fluid recently and didn't add GM Clutch Fluid, you most likely will get a squeek. The GM clutch fluid contains a lubricant. If you didnt, then its either the brushing at the pedal mounting bracket assembly or the throw out bearing assembly. Very rarely is it the actual pressure plate and disc assembly.

I have the problem on my 2002. It sqeaks just as I let the clutch out. Took the car to Fla and as the outside temp went up the squeak went away. I think it's the bushing on the pedal axle but I can't get at it to lube it. Anyway it will have to wait until spring since the car's up for the winter. I'll be interested to see if and how you solve the problem. Let me know.
