Default Noise when accelerating, not the belts

I have a 1998 c5 that is auto and convertible.
When accelerating there is a chirping noise that sounds like a belt slipping from roughly 1.5k - 3k rpms.

What I have done so far:
  • I replaced the harmonic balancer (it was wobbling when I bought the car)
  • I replaced ac belt and the main serpentine belt
  • I replaced both the tensioner and the idler for the ac belt system
  • I replaced the idler for the main serpentine belt
  • I have drove the car with both belts off the engine and the noise is still present

I am stumped as to where this noise could be coming from if it’s not the belts or pulleys. It is definitely coming from the engine bay area.

Look at the air intake system. Might have a clamp loose and the vacuum sucking air is making a whistle/chirping sound.

Thanks, I’ll give another look in the morning. Another thing is that the noise only happens when driving and not rev’ing in neutral

Does driving the same speed and style on a bumpy road versus a smooth road make a difference?
Could be a loose bracket with metal-to-metal scraping????

Here’s a clip from a YouTube video I made about 4 months ago. Strange thing is that this noise goes away once you increase in RPM’s past a certain point or when the car up shifts and your RPM’s fall below that threshold between about 1.5k - 2.5k rpms or so

Sounds To me it has something to do with your exhaust. If you hold it at the rpm it makes this noise. will the noise stay there until u go out of the rpm range.

Noise only happens in that rpm range when under load (accelerating)
