Default aftermarket intake

is this an aftermerket intake? the main plastice piece has the corvette emblem but a couple to a y with two filters. pictures attached and may i ask if theyre any good and add any horsepower? Also can i get rid of the smog air pump and put plugs on both the rubber manifold tube and intake side tube. My stock harness is missing one connector the those round lights in the picture. Anyone know where to find the correct plug and what those lights are called. i believe when i hit fog light button the lower side marker lights come on im not so sure about the round ones in the picture. Basically need a plug connector. with the rubber weather pack.

It is an aftermarket intake using the OEM air bridge and coupler

The forward part (metal Y section) is aftermarket, the air bridge is factory. It's unlikely that it will bring any performance gains, at least not on its own. Most "cold air intakes" are at best a cosmetic change, and at worse are more restrictive than factory and/or pull warmer air than the factory version.

you win they look better then stock to me. These throttle bodies are drive by wire. My 98 z28 ls1 was cable driven and had an inside lip ridge that was maybe 3mm all around. I had ported and polished it for free mod. Do the corvette throttle bodies have this ridge that would indeed make the throttle body inlet smaller that can be ground down or port polished? I looked yesterday on the car didnt notice one id have to take it off the car to see. The ls1 trans am camaros have a noticiable lip that would cause resticition maybe 3mm at best and the factory 99 throttle body is 78 mm like the standard ls1? Can i remove the air pump and put plugs on the exhaust manifold hose side as well as intake tubing side that stuffs in the way. i currently have the bumper off installing a new lower radiator support.

Are the round lights that fit under into bumper fog lights as seen in picture?

What other mods does the car have, specifically heads and exhaust? I'm not sure about any kind of lip in the throttle body, though there are plenty of places that will take your money to "port" the throttle body. Whether or not that will lead to power gains is debatable, especially on an otherwise stock system. Messing with the emissions system will cause issues if the car has to pass smog. If you don't need to pass smog you can delete the pump BUT it will likely throw codes unless you tune those out. I'm not sure what lights you're referring to, but the lights in the bumper are the daytime running lights.

Its auto 2.79 gears i have tsp headers going to install but it was a salvage title the from lower radiator support needed replaced i bought new one drove it 151 miles from laredo 6800$ from some guy, I have tsp headers im going to install do mechanic work myself. I attached photos. I do mechanic work myuself mostly reading how tos just bought a haynes manual in 2009 i bought 98 6 speed hardtop z28 stock for 3500$ i ended up building my own turbo kit with borg warner s475 when i was 22 years old made 501whp 465 tq at 6lbs at pat lsx dyno tuned. I put a racetronix fuel pump with relay and turned it up to 9lbs maybe 550rwhp. Got it with stock rear end 2.2 60 12.06 131mph the motor eventually threw a wrist pin out the block going down the track but had bunch of street races with it. sold it in 2014 and bout this 99 corvette 2 weeks ago at age 31.

I see the light you're talking about now. Looks like an aftermarket projector head of some kind. Who knows how it was rigged. Your best bet is to finish rebuilding/modding your car and get it properly dyno tuned. It will make what it will make.

Those two fog lights i just took off the front of the corvette, Theyre similar to my old 98 z28 for lights, Im changing the cradle lower radiator support and buying a new upper radiator support only half of the bottom one is there, Anyone know if the lower radiator support is bolted on or welded from factory because the frame rail is steel and and lower radiator support is aluminum.Someone halfbutt welded the support thats on there now to the steel frame. Im going to get a cut off wheel and grinder remove it get flush flat metal paint it black and mount the new aluminum one. DOes anyone know if theres a rubber grommet or any type of rubber supports that go in between this when mounting radiator and condenser to it. ALso what part numbers they are and pictures? Or does the radiator just sit on the bare aluminum? ALso for the upper radiator support still waiting on gm parts direct to ship it.

Great can you give me the part numbers to both sets of pads for lower and top radiator supports or direct me to right place that sells them, maybe a parts diagram. All i have is the brand new aluminum radiator lower support and waiting on gmpartsdirect to send the upper radiator support the one thats bolts over the top. Not sure if they have included hardware rubber pads mounts etc or if its something i need to get myself.
