L76 g8 engine swap into 97 c5 corvette
So like in the title im Searching for information on things I would need to do to put a 08-09 L76 6.0l all aluminum engine into my 97 c5 corvette ? As the 5.7 engine has seized and I have the L76 6.0l laying in my garage ,
I have a complete L76 engine with wiring harness and pcm ,
What will all be required to be done to make it a drop in plug and play ? Any info will be greatly appreciated and have a wonderful day

The L76 is basically like an LS2, which means you will need a 58x reluctor convertor to 24x like this:

or you can replace the reluctor on your engine with the 24x as shown here for example:

I would think you would keep your original ECU and then wire up to the existing harness. The only sensor you have to mod up to work is the Knock sensor, plus extend the cam sensor harness to the front of the motor.
You will probably need different headers and then modify the exhaust to bolt that part up
I would think the car would start with the existing program, but you will probably want it tuned afterwards to really get everything out of it. it being a more efficient head I would think it would take a few adjustments.
Since you have it open, I'd consider a small cam while in there anyway, those heads will breathe very well.
