I have a 99 Hard Top Vette. Have had flawless performance and dependability on this baby. This past Friday, I was out tooling around with the Mrs. ... We stopped for lunch and when trying to depart, discovered the car was dead. It wouldn't start, no power, no horn, no nada!!*$&^# Fortunately, I was next to a Goodyear location. I had them test the battery and it was absolutely drained. Now, this is the second battery.
The car had a recall service done on it for a new electrical harness about 9 months ago.
Has anyone had similar experience? Or knows anything that may help solve this issue?!!
Thanks,
Mo :mad

Welcome to the Forum! Sorry you are having problems. Bad batteries, "dark current" draw, electrical gremlins and bad grounds and sensors, are all part of life with the C5. (And any other modern car) You may need to take it back for diagnosis to the place that did the harness for you. Bad alternators do happen too; have them check it out. :yesnod: :)
