Goodyears EMT's Are Now Useless...

After 1.5 years and 13K, they spin through 1st, get sideways in 2nd (lift shift), ride like Flintstone tires and roar like Godzilla above 50mph :mad
Ran a super fast RX7 TT and he almost beat me until I hit 3rd/4rth :eek:
Trying to come out and slip 'em at 15-1700 is not bad, but it still spins through 1st-second. Admitedly, the exhaust swap didn't help traction, but I am seriously considering buying some Z06 rims/tires, or going bigger/softer tires on my five spokes... :(
Any suggestions either way? I don't want to give up my Run Flat security blanket (especially on trips...) but I am wasting alot of useable power and handling...

1st: Tell GM and Goodyear this. They claim they've had no unusual problems of this nature, and that everyone loves the EMT's.
2nd: Get some other brand tires. Michelin, Firestone, Yokohama all make replacement size runflats, and all are better riding, quieter, and stick better than the Goodyear runcraps.

So far, I haven't noticed anyone else using the Bridgestone S-03 Pole Position tires but I really like them. They are not as sticky as the KDs but run a close second and have been GREAT for the street. VERY quiet but are not RF. just my .02 :p:

I have 23500 on mine and a year and 3 months... 1/32 tread in middle 2/32 on the edges
I was overall very happy with mine, but I'm still switching to the Kumho Ecsta MXs.
