Help!
I hav a 2002 base hatchback. Front turn signals/hazards won’t flash. Just bought car, has led headlights and corner lights. Was told it has the hyper flash harness under steering wheel but had to put the “resistor” harnesses behind each headlight to get them to close. The corner and parking/turn signals light up but won’t flash. All rears work ok. Also cleaned and put dielectric grease on harness by right front lights. I’m stumped, but that’s not hard to do!
Do you have LED lights or the regular lights? You mention Hyperflash harness...
A common issue with C5s is the hazard switch contacts get yucky and the flashers and turn signals quit working. It happens to mine in warm humid weather. I can make them start working again by aggressively jamming the button off/on over and over and over. Sometimes it takes a lot of cycles sometimes only a handful.
Thanks, I tried the hazard switch and it is a little sticky but works. The rears flash but the fronts don’t. If it was easy, I’d just do it but since it is so complicated I didn’t want to risk breaking anything else unless it’s the problem. I figure since the rears flash it might be something else. I’ll let you know. Thanks again!!!

Try punching 👊 it with 1 finger several times. This switch gets very little use. Things that don't get used often go bad. This is one of the C5s known Achilles heels. No excuse for it. Shame on GM. That said, it is what it is. However, I'd recommend NOT buying another OEM unit. They're obviously trouble prone. After the R&R on the 4 way, check your front sockets/bulbs for corrosion. Old plastic can crack, too. Check your light housings for a hole, burned/melted into it from years of heat. Probably best to just get new sockets, and maybe new housing(s), if your checkup reveals a hole in one, or both housings. If one is melted thru,, the other isn't far behind, so I'd get BOTH housings,, even if only one has melted. A lot of guys go to LEDs, and install the hyperflash harness. Lots of info on the forum for this. Good luck. .....

Awesome, thanks!!! It came with led’s and hyper flash. I went ahead and ordered the 2 front sockets and hazard switch. Should be here by the weekend so I know why I’ll be doing! I’m going to take it slow and try not to break anything else ! Lol ! They also showed a cornering lamp relay I don’t remember seeing but I got one coming too. If all this fixes it I’ll be happy! If not, looking at taking it to someone to trace wiring, grounds and bcm ! I’ll post the results when I’m done. Thanks again!
The hazard switch is only the flasher. It can only cause both the front and rear to not flash at the same time. It can not possibly cause the front corner to not flash while the rear is flashing.
You would be best to investigate the front bulbs further. If it's not the bulbs or wiring then next is to look at the BCM and the DRL relays.
Well, finally found out I had 4 prong relays instead of 5 prong relays! Even though that’s what was in there and 2 parts stores looked them up by application. They each only had one in stock and I just wanted to change them both to be sure. Not!
As help to the rest of us in the future, what relay (schematic ID #?) and where is this relay located?
Glad you were able to fix the issue. Our C5s are an electrical puzzle at times.
