Torque tube issues
I'm needing some advice on what to do guys, I'm having my torque tube replaced soon, and I have a mcleod rst clutch going in with it. I ordered a 3.5inch dss shaft with the coupler eliminations, the issue is the shop I'm having do the work is saying that the shaft can't be installed into a factory housing. I can't find anything around here on an install with that. Can anyone offer any insight to whether on not I can do it or what I need to get to make this work?

Never heard of an aftermarket torque tube housing... So there's that...
Ask the shop what housing you should have it installed in... They won't have an answer.
Just be careful of the length of the dss shaft. There was a recent thread that the dss shafts were slightly to long and its a known issue.

I found another shop a few hours later thats familiar with working tubes. But I measured the shaft with a tape measure and verified length with dss but I don't have anything more precise unfortunately. I'll keep you guys posted when the install happens next month
