Default Argh, oil level sensor connector

Trying to replace the sensor (the one that triggers the "Low Oil Level" on the DIC, not the one for the gauge). For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the connector off. Anyone done this who can try and explain it in words? You can see the connector has this tricky little piece of plastic hanging off the side that probably needs to be disengaged, but there's zero room to do that. Thanks.

Can you get a pick in there to lift the lock arm?

You need to "lift" the plug tab to release the plug from the sensor lock.. While lifting the plug tab, remove plug from the sensor. A mini pick set can be very helpful in this case....
see photo.

Thanks Goose. That's what I was afraid of, since the tab access is facing into the header and will be a biotch to get to. Harbor Freight, here I come!

You can try to index the hex to a more easily accessible location. There should be enough wire there to get 1/2-3/4 turn so that the "window" where you insert the hook tool, or pick, is now in a position where you can see it well enough to pry the tab off the lock.......
