Default C5 "ram-air" induction

Hello, I'm new to the group.

Looking down at the radiator shroud
Does anyone recognize an air box marked "C5 Corvette Ram-Air Induction"? I'm trying to figure out how to get to the air filter and where to buy a replacement filter if I should need one. I've attached some pictures.

You should be able to get to from the bottom.

I'm sorry I can't help you. But I hope others see that it appears you're showing 2 different airboxes in your pics! I'm assuming you're asking about the filter in the box mounted to the radiator cover/shroud, correct? The other appears to be a stock C5 airbox and filter, correct? Or perhaps its a hybrid that uses parts from the OEM airbox? Regardless of which one you're inquiring about, that unit would be the only one I would recommend sending pics of. Otherwise, it can get confusing, and muddy the waters, so to speak. Hope this helps. Also, a pic of the other side of the shroud, the one on the radiator side, where air actually enters the system, would probably be helpful. Best of luck getting this figured out.

I used to have this on my car except it was clear so I could see the filter. You need to loosen the last band clamp and then the filters come out the bottom of the car

The pictures are of the same airbox. One view is from the top looking down at the radiator shroud. The other picture was taken through the gap between the hood and the bumper cover, with the hood open.
I've attached another picture taken from the side.

View from the right side. Notice the allen screws around the edge.
There are six allen head screws around the box so I'm thinking that you have to remove the screws and open up the hose clamp at the top. The problem is that the two bottom screws are in a narrow space between the airbox and the frame and I can barely get two fingers in there, much less a wrench. I attached another picture to show the narrow space.

Hopefully, I won't have to pull the whole radiator shroud.

Looks like the Vortec rammer that my 97 had when I bought it.

I stuck my head underneath the bottom of the radiator shroud and was able to look up into the intake and see the back side of the filter (which needs changing). On the bottom of the filter I saw a part number which was 33-2118 which is a K&N filter number. I didn't see any way to get the filter out from the backside. So now I at least know which filter to buy, once I figure out how to get to it.
