I have a 99 frc and every time I use the key fob to enter the car, my drivers seat moves back to the farthest position. I have tried setting the seat memory on the door and nothing changes. Can i pull the fuse for the door memory so i can use the key fob.? If i manually lock, seat stays where i want it.
Thanks
Turns out, my car does not have the memory option, don't know what I was thinking. Still, when I use the fob to open the door and then put the key in the ignition the seat moves all the way back. Its a real pain as then I can't push the clutch all the way in to start the car unless of course I move the seat every single time. Easy entry is turned to off and does the same thing with both key fobs.

Reason: Wrong Info
There is an option to turn off the easy entry seat through the options. Your manual will tell you how. I would but I can't remember. It is through the options button on the dic.
My easy entry is turned off but every time I use the key fob the seats still move. So to stop that, I used the key entry only. Worked well for several years but recently, without any changes, when I use the key the seat move again along with the mirrors. I then set the set memory to where I want the seats. So far that has fixed the problem with both when I use the key entry. The electrical gremlins in the C5 have no explanation. .

My '00 Vert does the same thing. I've used the memory on the left door panel to set position 1 for me and 2 for my wife and no matter what, either key fob places me in position #2. I've learned to live with it. Maybe the next time I disconnect the battery I can get it resolved.
