Default Engine Install

I have a few questions for when I put the fresh 402 back in the car.

I'll be dropping it in from the driver side.

Should I pre install the flywheel, clutch and QuickTime bellhousing?

I'm guessing I should pull my tall valve covers for the install too.

Drop it in with the accessory bracket already on? Or slap it in after?

Any good tips from experience to keep it smooth and easy?

I left bellhousing on toroq tube clutch assembly on engine valve cover off to get to TT to engine bolts. I left all bracteks off. one other thing i went straight in.

Be careful when directing input shaft into engine. If this is like the car ur working on i can talk u through it.

I would at least set the bellhousing in position. Mount clutch assembly prior to setting engine inside. Grease the input shaft tip with some high pressure grease to help it slip into the pilot bushing. The AC bracket can be installed just before setting the engine all the way in and on the mounts. Valve covers eh maybe since they are taller. A hand cranking leveling bar attachment is the easiest so you can adjust the engines position as you go down. You will already have the engine hoist out as far as it will extend.
