HVAC Control Panel

I have a 98 with the manual HVAC control panel. If I buy one with climate control that is specific to the C5...Is it a matter of just swapping it out? Or would modifications have to be made to the wiring? The manual one, the ***** are wonky, one **** just recently broke and I have it on order.

I saw some refurbished ones online and they ironically they cost less than the manual ones.

Oh I'm sorry, I thought you were just swapping manual to manual. If you going manual to digital its not plug and play. Actually quite involved.

I actually converted digital to manual in my car and that wasn't a piece of cake either.

Thanks for the heads up. In that case, I'll just leave as is and replace the *****. I just thought it would nice to have the set it and forget it.
