Strange Noise from right side rear
Over the past few days I have noticed a strange noise coming from the right side rear. It appears to be a clicking noise. Whats strange about this is the fact that it only occurs when I first move forward for the first 10 feet in the morning ? :confused: Could it be a CV joint goin bad ?

I've noticed a noise from that area too, but had a buddy look/listen as I drove mine is coming from somewhere in/on the wheel/rotor/calipers. :confused:

I just encountered that very same noise on the left side. I took it to the dealer and they said it was caused by "dry splines". They wanted $156 to "fix". I declined. I personally think it's the CV joint.
GMPP doesn't cover lubrication but they would cover replacing the CV joints. I'm going to live with it until it really fails.

I had that for a while...even posted a thread a long time ago...it was like a "clickclickclickclick" under the same conditions-from the same place. It has since gone away, and never played havoc with me. I think it is an actuator warming up...don't know, but at least that wierd noise went away :rolleyes:
