Default Easy Entry Seat Issue

I have an ‘03 Z06 with 12k mi. and my Easy Entry Seat has a mind of it’s own. Despite trying to turn it off using the Option button on the dash, scrolling to that feature and then selecting ‘off’, the seat continues to move itself as far back as possible every time I shut the car off and leave the cabin. When I return, I have to ht the memory button to have the seat return to its original position. I don’t need this ‘feature’, in fact I dislike this ‘feature’ and a I would appreciate some insight as to how I can turn it off, even if it’s permanently. Thanks in advance.

After doing all you did, mine does the same along with the mirrors changing if I use the remote. Now I only use the key to enter, Others have put the seat in the position they want then pull the seat fuse. Just another electrical anomaly with the C5.

Thanks, rrwirsi. I was afraid that was going to be the answer. Not the end of the world as I’m pretty much the only person who uses it (my wife keeps threatening to drive it but she has yet to take the plunge). I’ll just pull the fuse. One other thing I may try, just for laughs, is using the other remote and see if the seat remains stationary. I’ll report back if I have success.

Thanks again.

I have been using the other remote and key and the seat hasn't moved from its original position when I open the door. Don't know why it worked but it did.
