Hey all, hate to beat a dead horse with this post but does it look like this harmonic balancer is due for replacement? No belt squeals or anything, but this amount of wobble seems concerning. About 71,800 on the odometer.
Looks Wobbling - think about getting it done when you can.
For the information - what is your tensioner doing in this video? You cut it short - is it moving more than a notch? This could be a another good indication of balancer issue for others concerned like me.

Unfortunately I don't recall how much it was moving - don't think much, if at all.

Second thread today where I am in agreement with grinder!!!
Yours looks like mine did about 3 days before it walked itself off the back of the crank and into the timing cover. What a mess and loud as hell. Luckily I had just pulled out of my driveway and was only 2 houses down the street.
I would suggest taking it out of service immediately and replacing the balancer.
Mine had about 140k miles on it when it failed.
Lots of other stuff you can and should do while you have everything apart. Lots of piece of mind for down the road.
Good luck!!!
I also recommend using one of the alignment tools. I used the Mr. Gasket one since it was on sale at the time. Get it right the first time and be done with it. You don't want to have to pull that damper again anytime soon.
I replaced everything...power steering pump, oil pump, timing chain, timing gears, added a chain dampener, new main seal and timing cover, new water pump (went with an LS2 pump I believe that is lighter, smaller, improved efficiency and improved seal), did the inlet heater bypass (don't really need that for warmups in Florida). Great time to get all that done and most of the components are very reasonable if you shop around a bit.

Yea I'm going to bite the bullet and change absolutely everything (except PS pump) plus a new DeWitts radiator. RIP my wallet.
Did your block have provisions for the timing chain dampener or did you use one of those adapters?
My 2004 was drilled and tapped for both holes.
Funny you should mention the radiator. All my car Buds were harping on me to install a new radiator while I had everything apart. I said it ain't broke so I'm not going to fix it. 3 days after I got the car back on the road the radiator blew on my way home from work and I had antifreeze all over the windshield. Luck was with me again because I was less than a mile from my house!!
Good for you changing the radiator. I ordered a regular replacement from Amazon and had it at the house the next afternoon and changed it that night!
Finally got it off tonight. The rubber is mostly intact, but it's definitely skewed (not sure what to call it). Anyways, noticed that it has a groove worn around it where it contacts the crankshaft seal. What's going on here?
Mine had the worn groove like that as well. Seems pretty normal on high mile cars. The front main seal wears that groove over time.
My front main was leaking just a little bit. Not enough to worry about. It got changed during the balancer replacement.....
