Okay so I have a oil pan gasket that’s leaking and no place will touch it. I tried getting in contact with the dealer in my local area but they don’t answer. What should I do? I got it checked at Firestone and they were the ones that told me it was leaking. I already had the oil pressure sensor replaced. When my car is running it has a steady drip of oil every other second. Should I get it on the lift and just replace the bottom gasket?
There's an upper an lower gasket. Where is it coming from. If you had the sensor replaced and are sure it's not that - it's either the rear main seal, upper gasket, or lower gasket. I'm surprised a shop or dealer wouldn't touch it. I haven't done it on mine, but I understand it's fairly straight forward.

First thing, try tightening the bolts on oil pan, But don't be a hulk about it. More like a 10yr old girl. If not what else u going to do just keep adding oil. Iif u do that u will never have to change the oil.
I have the upper and lower pan gaskets being replaced today. It's costing me almost $1200.00. The lower pan gasket is easy. However, the upper pan gasket requires that you drop the rack. This is more involved. I agree that it isn't something that a good shop should refuse to do. Where do you live?
EDIT: if the oil is dripping down on the front leaf spring, it is the upper pan gasket. If it is in the back, it is the rear main. If it is somewhere in the middle around the edge of the pan, then it is the lower pan gasket. The other much less likely possibility is if you actually gouged a hole through the oil pan itself. I could understand a shop not wanting to touch that. Good Luck!

Since the OP states that the oil pressure sensor was replaced thats the first area I would look. That and the cam position sensor since someone was just in that area.
Also for it to be a steady drip I would think the system has to be under pressure so that would eliminate the pan gasket because it would leak with or without the car running

My '99 FRC has a one piece oil pan. Just replaced the gasket a few weeks ago. Did the work myself and it is an involved job. Would be the same job to replace the upper gasket on a two part oil pan. The front cradle has to be dropped and moved forward to access all the bolts and have room to remove the pan. This is a lot of work and that's why shops charge so much for labor. Hopefully your problem is the oil pressure sensor is just leaking which is a much less labor intensive job. If it is leaking I'd take it back to the shop that replaced it for you and have them fix it. If they're worth their salt they should fix it for free given it's probably their fault it's leaking in the first place.
