Computer pulled 10 degrees timing ?

Default Computer pulled 10 degrees timing ?
Has anyone ever have a car suddenly pull 10 degrees of timing ? Engine is built. S/c heads cam. Etc. driving car after three hrs car lost power. Found it pulled a crazy amount of timing. Reflashed tune. Ran great. Decided to download tune manually ran great then after three hrs. It did it again. At a lose. Thx.
I was just cruising down highway around 75 /80 mph. Not getting on it at all. Had a long trip

What tuner are u running?? HPTuners?? EFLive??

Can u post your tune can you log while driving??

Many parameters can pull timing and yes depending on the tune 10 can be pulled.

I have mine setup to pull 10*

I’m not sure. What tune is bn used. I was at a shop getting work finished up and attempted to go home. When it started running bad I got it back to the shop and that what they were saying. I was just curious if this has happened. I know nothing on tuning a car and I understand there is a lot of that goes into it.

That shop needs to drive it while logging it and fix the tune.

We could speculate, but with no data very hard to say whats going on

Common occurrence when you have headers. The knock sensors are too sensitive and they register knock from the sound of the headers.

In which case its reverting to the low octane table.
Or it has real knock and doing the same.
Original tuner should have caught this.

Put in 100 octane race gas and see if it still pulls timing. If it does, its probably false knock.
