Getting a set of used Proform valve covers ,and I suspect after looking at pics, each cover has one vent tube each.I have an 03 and plan on keeping the stock style PCV system, looking for suggestions on how to run a effective PCV system..( I’m not running a catch can at this time)

The 2003 PCV valve, in stock form pulls from both valve covers and filtered return air is let back into the engine in a second port on the passenger side valve cover.
I notice that the 2001-2004 LS6 and LS2 do not use any port on the driver side valve cover at all, but instead pull vacuum with the PCV valve on the valley cover and filtered return air to the passenger side valve cover.
With one port on each valve cover, I would try putting the PCV vacuum on the driver side valve cover and filtered return air from the throttle body to the passenger side valve cover. Like the Elite Page 6 diagrams, except the vacuum, PCV valve circuit (5, 7) on the driver side valve cover.
Although not required, consider a catch can in the vacuum PCV side circuit--
My '03 Z06 has a plug in the driver side valve cover and only one port used on the passenger side. Fresh air from TB in on the pass valve cover, and vacuum pulled from the valley cover plate to the catch can. I would just put a rubber plug over the fitting on the driver cover if I were you.
