Default Clutch Pedal Issue...

A few times when i have been driving slow, both times in a slow moving traffic, my clutch pedal got stuck almost in the bottom posititon. I notise also the way it ingaged the clutch changed. If i put my foot under the pedal it pops back out and its all ok????

Culd this be just the fluid? Anyone had this before and could tell me how to fix it?

Either the clutch master cylinder or more likely the slave cylinder is toast. Replace them both and it will work again. If you happen to have a remote bleeder on the car you can try bleeding it with fresh fluid and that might be a short term bandaid.

Have you changed the clutch fluid? If not, open up the top of the Clutch Master Cylinder in the engine compartment and look at the color. Is it clear or is it dark/black. If dark/black, change it. You can do it yourself doing the Ranger Method.
Hopefully that will solve your issue, If not solve the issue, take it to a Corvette Mechanic for diagnosis.

Check out the "Sticky" in the Autocross and Roadracing section. Very good info on the problem you describe.

The car is 22years old so age might do some damage, but its sonly 20.000miles. Or 35.000km. So dont think the clutch is gone just yet? I think there is a chance its the fluid....Most likely never changed? My tires are the OEM F1`s and most fluide i think might be old when i got it. Changed oil and so on but not clutch fluide. Did change break fluid, engine oil and gearbox fluides
