If you have access to the FSM, there is an hydraulic circuit diagram for the ABS. Basically, with no ABS activation the pressure path is directly to the wheel cylinders.. When ABS actoivates, or AH/TC, selected solenoids open and close and the pump activated to boost pressure above pedal pressure. The fluid never really goes anywhere during normal activation, just changes the path to the calipers. So the short answer would be to run the automated bleed first, then bleed the brakes. Probably 2-3 times if you are really concerned about old fluid in the ABS.
The rear brakes bleed slowly, so even during the automated bleed, the old fluid is probably still in the lines.
