I’ve recently run into a problem where both of my headlights won’t automatically raise or lower yet the lights work. I’ve tried searching but the results don’t quite match my symptoms. Some have only one that refuses to cooperate, or doors function but lights don’t turn on, or the thread doesn’t provide a conclusion with their findings. I’m trying to determine if I should be looking towards the headlight control module or BCM or something other. Info is below.
Car
2003 Z06
Sun Guns (installed 6+ years ago)
4 HI wire harness (installed 8+ years ago)
Twilight sentinel installed / activated (8+ years ago)
Symptoms
Headlights won’t go up or down
Chime activates when door is open as if headlights are on
Diagnostics
Headlights work via MFS or Twilight Sentinel
Doors open smoothly when manually opened and no weird noises prior to problem
Turning on the high beams does not help
Pulled fuses 3 & 4 (engine compartment – L & R headlamp motors) which stopped the chime
Purchased new relay and swapped with #43 & #44 with no change
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I recently had one headlight that did not raise. I jiggled the wiring harness to the headlight and wallah, it went up. Cleaned all the connectors and no further problem. Realizing having two headlights with the same wiring problem would be very usual, but Murphy's law sometimes happens.
I have a left (drivers side) headlight pump that's is bad, so I am going to replace both. I would like to install No Fault LED lights as well at the same time. Do I need a new headlight housing unit or can I just purchase pulps and replace. Factory lights are just adequate! Mine is a 2002 C5 coupe.
