DIC problem 98 C5
I am having a problem with my DIC system. When I turn the key on, it starts the usual bootup scenario, it shows the Gm Corvette text and moves and displays the total vehicle mileage. The problem is that it will not go farther than that, reset does not help. When this happens none of the 6 buttons do anything. I am trying to figure why this is happening. I suspect the PCM. Have any of you ever encountered this problem? I have a full set of the GM manuals for this vehicle, but, they assume you have all the gm special testers, which I do not have. Any help will be appreciated. I have removed the pcm, but found they are not readily available. I hate to shotgun this problem, a NOS is $1K.
