Dead pump! And dealership says they are on National back-order with no ETA. And they won't put in an aftermarket unit. I researched other OEM pump choices only to discover the upgraded pump can only be used in 03 and later C5 and all C6's. What now? It's my DD. Sure could use some help/advice. Mahalo from Hawaii.
Service Dept diagnosed bad pump -- They said power to pump but no pressure.
Is there a different pump for the crossover? I ask because the various websites show 2 module kits--passenger and driver side.
Do both get replaced if one is bad? The tanks are drained so it would make sense to do...is that a good protocol?
But Rock Auto only shows one pump. So I'm really confused.
Sticky point: Delphi is no longer part of GM? But doesn't it make parts for GM? If so then it's same as OEM, right?
Thanks so much for the fast response. I'm so much closer to a solution than I was this am, thanks to the Forum!

The pump that supplies the engine fuel is in the left tank !!..Delphi is no longer part of GM as of 1999 and went bankrupt in 2005.
FYI:
The C5 Corvette has two fuel tanks, left and right hand. The left hand tank contains the electric fuel pump that supplies fuel to the engine. The right hand tank has a pump, which transfers fuel from the right tank to the left tank. The pump in the right hand tank has no moving parts and is not really a pump. It is a siphon device that uses fuel pressure from the left hand pump to start a siphon that transfers fuel from the right hand tank to the left hand tank. In order to create this siphon, the fuel line that goes to the engine splits and a small amount of pressure is routed to the right hand tank to start the siphoning. The fuel that is being siphoned is routed through another hose to the left hand tank. If the left hand tank is full, the fuel transfers back to the right hand tank through the large filler tube located at the top of the tanks.
You are so informative! Now I understand what the tech couldn't explain to me. We don't have the same caliber of techs on the island that I'm used to in CA. Thank goodness for the Forum!

Thanks for the info. Discovered the updated pn is 19421093 and because of your help I was able to find one at Coulter Buick-GM in Tempe AZ.
In meantime I get message that dealership is going with a Delphi FG 1213 which they are getting from NAPA.
This is after all the B.S. about using aftermarket parts or suppliers. Now, while I waited and they scratched their behinds trying to find a discontinued part...they want to charge me over $933 for an item I could have bought two weeks ago for under $400 delivered overnight. Some dealerships in Hawaii have no conscience!
Again, thanks for your help.
