The sensor and tire valve are one piece. There is a o-ring on the valve on the inside of your wheel. Just tighten the nut on the valve-stem that is on the outside of your wheel a LITTLE bit. If the o-ring is leaking this may cure your problem. You can also just buy new o-rings if needed.

I had a slow leak on mine. It was leaking between the tire and the wheel. The tire shop put some sort of sealer on it (had to break the tire down) and now it's fine.
Just be careful on the valve stem tighten it to no more than 112 INCH POUNDS. Try a soapy water mix to check for leaks first - no sense fixing something that isn't broken.
Is this a good job for my car dealer or should I go to a tire shop?
Having a slow leak is a tough spot to be in, I know I was there once. Technically tire leaks are not a warrantee item but the tire sensors are. My dealer told me to take it to a tire shop, so I asked what happened if the leak turned out to be in the tire sensor. After he did some checking he told me to take it to the tire store and if it was a tire sensor they would supply the tire store with a new one under warranty. So, I asked who then would pay the mount and dismount and rebalancing charges. There was some silence on the other end of the line them the guy said we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
Ultimately, I put a new set of tires on and they installed new valve cores as part of the process and the leak went away.
