cruise control disengages

cruise control disengages
Yesterday while out for a 2 hour drive, I had my cruise turn itself off (2) two times. Once traveling at about 45-50 MPH and the other time about 65 MPH. It was as if I lightly touched my clutch or brake pedal. She's a well maintained 2003 with 39,000 miles. When I got home. I checked for any codes and found none. Anyone ever experience this?

While driving with cruise on, try tapping the clutch or brake pedal from the side and see if the cruise kicks off.
If you do work under the dash, remember there are only 4 nuts and an electrical connector keeping your driver's seat in the way. In less than 10 minutes you can have the seat out and have plenty of room to work.
