Default Blue and white wire

On my 02 C5 I’m in the process of removing the extra wiring from a previous owner’s aftermarket radio and alarm installations.
My question is regarding a blue and white wire I located under the dash. Tracing it backwards it is going to the driver’s door.
I have not pulled the door panel to see where it actually goes.
Is this a critical wire that needs to be installed to what? Or, is it something the p.o. wired in for an accessory?

I apologize for not being more precise in my first post. It is not one wire it is two, one blue and one white wire. Not sure if this makes a difference.
