Default Is this factory exhaust?

I have a 1998 C5 base convertible. I'm trying to find exhaust tips as I've lost one of the four somewhere. I tried finding round ones just about everywhere but am unsuccessful. I then saw some carbon fiber tips but none have an inlet of 3.5" or 89mm. The tail pipe coming out of my muffler is 3.5" wide at the widest point. See the photo with one tip missing.
The tail pipe is oval and 3,5" wide. Is this the way it came from the factory? The mufflers have one input and two outputs per muffler and I thought that they are originals as car only has 21k on the clock. Am puzzled... Thanks to all for any info...

They look like factory tips to me. There were the plain tips without polished aluminum that look like the one that the polished tip fell off of. Which was on my '99 when I bought it new. Then there is the exhaust with the polished tips which I think came out later in like 01 or 02 (guessing). I had bought an OEM set like yours on EBay back in 2003 before replacing with Borla's.

Those tips aren’t factory. The exhaust does look factory. And someone glued on some aftermarket tips later.

I attached the aftermarket stainless tips. Apparently not all secure enough... i.e. that's why one is missing... Thanks.

Try using a small S/S screw at the base of each aftermarket tip to keep them secure and from coming off.
